Sip on signature cocktails and nibble delicious hors d’oeuvres while you catch up with neighbors, enjoy live music and get a chance to win one of our famous luxury raffle baskets, all while supporting Volta Park.

This event is now sold out but you can still support the park by buying raffle tickets here.

This event is the Friends of Volta Park’s main source of funding - providing the majority of the funds for our landscaping and community work - so if you love Volta Park, you won’t want to miss this important gathering.

Please join us Sunday, April 14th, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. when Park friends will gather for a clean-up event with the community. Gloves and trash bags will be provided but please bring your own rakes/tools. 

Santa’s on his way back to Volta Park and his sleigh touches down at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9! There will be lots of fun and treats for all from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and a special Santa Experience option!

For the Santa experience, $10 will include: sitting with Santa (*parents will take their own photos), letter to Santa craft, an order of mini doughnuts and coffee/hot chocolate (*one per family member).

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the DC Department of General Services (DGS) will hold the final meeting for the community to see the revised baseball renovation plan, hear about the scope of work, and review the project timeline.

Volta Park’s Fall Festival is back on Saturday, October 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Families and friends come together each year for live music from bluegrass band Split String Soup, food prepared by the Georgetown University Grilling Society, carnival games, a petting zoo, bouncing on two bounce houses, face painting, and more!

Historically, each spring, members of our community who care about Volta Park come together for its most important fundraiser of the year. Guests enjoy cocktails and appetizers while they bid on luxury items, gift certificates for dining and hotel experiences, vacations, and more, all donated by generous businesses and friends in our community.

This year’s party will see the return of our amazing luxury raffle baskets, live entertainment and the delightful setting in the George Town Club’s Library and Garden rooms.

As the source for the majority of our contributed donations and funding each year, this event is a must-attend for all of our Volta Park supporters. We look forward to seeing you there!
